Jason Hamacher and The Syriac Orthodox Church of the United States, in partnership with W83, invite you to a performance of Ancient Syriac hymns to celebrate Orthodox Holy Week, from Palm Sunday through Easter Sunday. These hymns will be sung in Syriac, a language derived from Aramaic.
This performance also marks the closing reception for “Hallowed Be Thy Name,” Jason Hamacher’s photography exhibition of ancient church sites in pre-civil war Syria. Hamacher will share about his work documenting the sights and sounds of Syria. For more information about Jason Hamacher and his work, please visit http://lostorigins.com/
Tickets are $12 advance sale, $15 at the door, plus processing fees. Proceeds will go to the St. Ephrem Patriarchal Development Committee (EPDC), which directly supports Christian communities still residing in Syria.
