In the exhibit “Wish for Wholeness,” Beth Barron practices a contemplative approach to art-making as she collects bandages and other discarded personal remnants, crafting works that speak to the trauma of pain while celebrating the resiliency of the human spirit. Reflecting on the suffering in her own life, the artist invites the viewer to enter her process and consider personal experiences of suffering and the power to heal.
Exhibit opens April 12 and runs through June 29. Open daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Opening reception: Thursday, April 12, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
