The Washington Heights Arts Salon hosts a live installation and event with artist Kristina Libby and the Floral Heart Project in Fort Tryon Park on Sunday, December 20, from 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm ET. With private grieving traditions postponed, public grieving missing, and many artistic spaces disrupted, Kristina has found a way to creatively and compassionately make space for all at once. With the generous collaboration of 1-800-Flowers.com, she has been creating floral hearts around NYC as an ongoing tribute to those lost to COVID-19, and as a space of public mourning and support for everyone suffering.
