We have all experienced some form of breakdown this past year. Whether it is through loss and grief or through a reckoning or revelation, the world and the life we know have been reshaped in some way by the impact of this global pandemic. 

In this two-part exhibition "Breakdown", Misato Pang creates art in response and as part of her process of understanding her own breakdowns: breaking down who she is in terms of her ethnic identity and her Christian faith; breaking down what she has held to be true and assumptions to be challenged; and breaking down her own practice as an artist and pushing her own boundaries of craft and creativity.
